God
1. There is only one true God; immortal, invisible and all powerful. He is just and a refuge for us.
“That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.” (Isaiah 45:6)
“Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach to; who no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.” (1Timothy 6:16)
"As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is true: he is a shield to all those who take refuge in him." (Psalm 18:30)
2. God created the world and all things in it. He has a great purpose for His creation.
“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.” (Revelation 4:11)
“For says the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.” (Isaiah 45:18)
3. The Holy Spirit is God's power by which He works.
“The angel said to Mary, The Holy Spirit shall come on you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35)
4. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, given by Him to reveal His plan with mankind.
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2Timothy 3:16)
"These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew to his servants the things which must shortly come to pass." (Revelation 22:6)
Jesus Christ
5. Jesus is the Son of God. He is also Son of man through being born of Mary.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1Timothy 2:5)
“The angel said to Mary, The Holy Spirit shall come on you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35)
6. Jesus overcame all temptation and died to save his followers from sin and death.
“Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)
“For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.” (Hebrews 4:15)
7. Jesus was raised from the dead by God. He later ascended to heaven but will return.
“He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spoke to you when he was in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” (Luke 24:6-7)
“Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven.” (Acts 1:11)
Kingdom of God
8. Jesus Christ will return to be King of a never-ending Kingdom filling the whole earth.
“And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed.” (Daniel 2:44)
“The LORD shall be king over all the earth” (Zechariah 14:9)
“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give to him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” (Luke 1:32-33)
9: Jesus will judge the living and the dead when he returns, giving those who have believed and followed him a special place in the kingdom.
“I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom” (2Timothy 4:1)
10: The followers of Jesus Christ, made immortal, will help him to bring everlasting peace to the world.
“And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts has spoken it.” (Micah 4:3-4)
Israel
11: Our hope is a Jewish hope.
“For this cause have I called to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.” (Acts28:20)
“For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ… And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:27-29)
12: Israel was God’s Kingdom in the past. In the future, God's Kingdom will be restored with Jerusalem as the center.
“For you are a holy people to the LORD your God: the LORD your God has chosen you to be a special people to himself, above all people that are on the face of the earth.” (Deuteronomy 7:6)
“The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that … many people shall go and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” (Isaiah 2:1-3)
Baptism
13: The devil is another name for our human nature that tempts us to sin. The result of sin is death.
“But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.” (James 1:14-15)
“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” (Mark 7:21-23)
14: When we die, we corrupt in the grave and cease to exist.
“Nevertheless man being in honour abides not: he is like the beasts that perish. Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them” (Psalm 49:12-13)
“For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, … Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished.” (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6)
15: We can be saved from sin and death by baptism (full immersion in water by an adult) into Christ.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
“And he said to them, Go you into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved.” (Mark 16:15-16)

16: Understanding God’s promises about the Kingdom and Jesus Christ is essential.
